The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced automotive
Store Manager
to take the lead at our well-established South Morang Store.
Bring your leadership skills and industry knowledge to a dynamic team to help drive continued success.
Key Responsibilities
Being accountable for managing the day-to-day operational requirements of the store, in this leadership position you will also be responsible for the alignment of work to team members to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the workshop in line with our company practices and standards.
Additional responsibilities include:
Actively develop and build relationships with retail and automotive trade customers.
Ensure the commercial financial viability by achieving agreed budgets, sales, and margin targets to maximise store profitability.
Lead, motivate and support your team; monitor team performance,



coach and train as required, lead store recruitment activities.
Assist in the workshop and be "hands-on" when required.
Promote and sell Pedders products and services.
Maintain Pedders store standards, including compliance to OH&S; and other company policies.
Importantly this opportunity will allow you to take the next step in your career, building further on your management skills whilst working with quality people and products.

What You Bring To The Team
Qualification or demonstrated experience in automotive suspension repairs and operation.
Relevant experience in a management or leadership role.
Demonstrated experience from a similar franchise/automotive business model is desirable but not essential.
Communication skills, ability to influence, encourage and lead your team to achieve goals.
High level of time management skills with the ability to deal with competing priorities and experience of effectively delegating and managing workshop flow.
Sales and achievement focused with proven sales achievements.
Current and unrestricted Driver's Licence.
