Join Fernwood Fitness's National Support Office in Richmond as our Mid-Senior Graphic Designer. This is a full-time, fixed-term maternity leave contract for approximately 12 months.
As Australia's leading women's health, fitness and wellness brand, with over 75 clubs nationwide, Fernwood inspires women to feel stronger, healthier and more confident every day. We're looking for a talented designer to help bring our brand to life through engaging campaigns across print and digital.
We're looking for someone who can confidently manage projects from concept through to final artwork while building strong relationships with our in-house marketing and operations teams, franchise partners and club staff.
What you'll be doing
You'll play a key role in bringing Fernwood's national marketing campaigns to life across a wide range of touchpoints, including:
Creating engaging campaign concepts and creative assets across digital, print and social media
Designing EDMs, digital advertising, social content, POS, signage, large format, presentations and club marketing materials
Managing projects from creative brief through to final artwork and production
Ensuring all creative work aligns with Fernwood's brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity
Collaborating closely with our marketing and operations teams
Supporting the planning, coordination and execution of brand and campaign photoshoots
Retouching imagery and preparing artwork for both digital and print production




Managing workflow efficiently across Monday.com while meeting deadlines
Maintaining creative assets within Canva and SharePoint
Supporting franchise clubs with custom design requests
Contributing ideas that help strengthen our brand and improve creative outcomes
About you
You'll be a confident designer who combines creativity with excellent organisation and attention to detail.
You'll ideally have:
5+ years' experience in a graphic design, branding or agency environment
A Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or similar
Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat)
Robust typography, layout and image retouching skills
Experience designing for both print and digital marketing channels
Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple projects
Strong communication and collaboration skills
A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
High attention to detail
Bonus points if you have experience with:
Motion graphics or animation
Health, fitness or lifestyle brands
