These range from childcare and immunisations, to libraries, management of parks and open space, rubbish collection, road maintenance and more. About the Role
Lead strategic planning, partnerships and governance for early years services across the City of Port Phillip.
Shape the accessibility and long-term sustainability of community-managed early years services through policy development, service system design and population-based planning.
Build strong partnerships with service providers, government agencies and community stakeholders to deliver better outcomes for children and families.
Reporting to the Manager Family Youth & Children, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and provide expert advice to senior leaders, executives and elected representatives.

Duties:
Lead early years planning,



policy and service system design
Build strategic partnerships across government and the sector
Oversee kindergarten enrolment, funding and service agreements
Provide advice on infrastructure priorities and capital projects
Lead, support and develop a multidisciplinary team
Skills and Experience
Relevant tertiary qualification in early childhood, planning, public policy or related field
Extensive experience in early years planning, policy or partnership leadership
Strong knowledge of early years funding, regulatory and governance frameworks
Proven ability to lead teams and influence complex stakeholder environments
Experience in strategic planning, infrastructure projects and resource management
