Our client is a well-established commercial fit out and refurbishment contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering premium projects across workplace, hospitality, retail, education and government sectors. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join their high-performing delivery team. Working on projects ranging from $2M–$20M, you'll play a key role in the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors.
The Role
As a Senior Contract Administrator, you'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered commercially, contractually and financially while maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the commercial delivery of fit out and refurbishment projects from start to finish.
Prepare, review and administer subcontract agreements.
Let and negotiate subcontract packages.
Manage procurement schedules and project budgets.
Assess and process subcontractor progress claims and variations.
Prepare client progress claims and variation submissions.
Forecast project costs and monitor financial performance.




Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects remain on budget and programme.
Manage final accounts and subcontract close-out.
About You
You'll ideally bring:
6+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction.
Experience delivering commercial fit out and refurbishment projects.
Strong understanding of procurement, cost planning and contract administration.
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
High attention to detail with strong commercial acumen.
A relevant qualification in Construction Management or a related discipline.
