Afternoon and Night Machine Operators
for an immediate start with well-established and highly regarded companies based in
Thomastown.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced operators or someone looking to develop a career within the manufacturing industry.
About the role:
Set up and operate CNC machines to process materials (e.g. sheet metal or timber)
Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and job specifications
Load and unload materials and select the correct material type and thickness for production
Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to ensure quality and efficiency
Inspect and measure finished components to ensure they meet quality standards




Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting as required
Follow all workplace health, safety, and quality procedures
Sunday to Thursday Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Monday to Friday Afternoon Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
To be successful, you will need:
Previous experience operating CNC machinery or other manufacturing equipment.
Experience working with sheet metal or timber.
Full Australian Working Rights.
Experience with CNC-controlled equipment (Bystronic experience highly regarded).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to complete pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing before commencement.
