Salary Range:$79,500 - $85,000 | depending on skills level and work experience + superannuation.

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electronic Instrument Trades Worker to join our client, a highly regarded provider of industrial instrumentation and electrical solutions. Our client is known for delivering reliable, accurate and safe control systems across the resource, energy and infrastructure sectors. This role offers an exciting prospect to work on advanced electronic systems, diagnose complex faults, and support the ongoing maintenance of critical plant and equipment. Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform detailed diagnostic testing on electronic instruments, control systems, and industrial machinery to identify faults and performance issues.
• Dismantle, adjust, and replace defective components, wiring, and circuit boards; then reassemble and test equipment to ensure full operational compliance.
• Commission and install new electronic instruments and control systems, applying expertise in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles.
• Monitor radio communications, interpret coded messages,
and accurately transmit and receive voice traffic to support field operations and coordination.
• Advise operators and users on correct operating procedures and preventative maintenance practices to minimize downtime and equipment failure.
• Keep detailed records of repairs, calibrations, and system modifications, and prepare written reports and messages for transmission as required.
Requirements
• Qualified Electronic Instrument Trades Worker with Special Class status or equivalent recognized trade qualification.
• Proven 1-year full-time work experience in installing, commissioning and maintaining electronic control and instrumentation systems.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret technical codes and procedures.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and instrument manuals.
• Commitment to workplace safety and working effectively in both workshop and field environments.
• Relevant qualification to above field.
