Roles and Responsibilities
Work to a design standard
Set up and maintain equipment and tools
Keep workspaces clean and organised
General maintenance duties
Assembly of machines and sub-assemblies
Assisting in painting processes
Cutting steel
Detailing machinery
Restocking of parts and components
Other duties as required
What You Will Learn
Traineeship or apprenticeship: Cert II Engineering, Cert III Engineering (welding, machining, spray painting etc.)
Hand and power tool usage
Manufacturing and production processes
Hydraulics, metal work and electronic components
Stock control
How to work as part of a team, and how to work autonomously
Schedule
38 hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime (notice provided)
Full time position, immediate start
The Successful Candidate Must Have
No experience required
Driver's and forklift licence (preferred)
Safety conscious at all times
Reliable transport
Strong time management
Willingness to complete a paid trial (up to 2 weeks)
