We have an opportunity for an experienced AHA to join our multidisciplinary team which covers the Hume and Whittlesea LGAs. Some of the responsibilities for this role include:
Assisting in the delivery of individualised, quality, treatment, screening and support programs with clients, carers and relevant stakeholders (home, outreach and / or centre- based)
Assisting clinicians in the preparation and running of groups, which includes contacting clients on group/triage lists and preparing them for groups
Ensuring client file documentation supports the standards for documentation and the quality improvement requirements within the agency
Maintaining regular, timely and accurate statistical input into relevant client databases
Ordering and Monitoring of Equipment and Consumables
Participation in and input into regular monthly meetings
Others including assessing clients for personal alarms
Key Selection Criteria
Experience & Skills
Must have Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant and/or higher
Experience and expertise working in allied health and/or the community health sector
Experience working with a variety of client groups that may include culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, aged persons and/or people with a disability
An ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
An understanding of and robust commitment to helping people maintain their independence and well-being
Experience conducting group programs
Capacity to make decisions, find solutions and elevate when required
Must be able to work across different DPV Health sites, and from home as required
Seek opportunities to improve processes adapting to a flexible and changing environment.
