As an
Accountant
, you will support the delivery of accurate financial reporting, analysis and business partnering across Arts Centre Melbourne. Working closely with Finance Business Partners and stakeholders across the organisation, you will prepare month-end reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, analyse financial performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance skilled who enjoys combining technical accounting expertise with commercial insights to support informed decision-making and organisational success.
Full-Time Fixed Term February **** Band 3.3 | $91,970 + 12% superannuation
Your Skills and Experience
Experience in financial reporting and analysis
Strong month-end accounting experience
Experience with budgeting and forecasting
Knowledge of general ledger and reconciliations
Experience with variance and trend analysis
Financial modelling and analytical skills
Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and modelling
Experience with ERP or financial management systems
Knowledge of Power BI, Calumo or similar reporting tools (desirable)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical capability
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Valid working rights in Australia
Satisfactory National Police Check required

is part of the Corporate Services Pillar and partners with teams across Arts Centre Melbourne to deliver strong financial governance, reporting and business support. Bringing together expertise in accounting operations, compliance, reporting and financial performance,



the team provides the financial insight and controls that enable the organisation to achieve its strategic and operational objectives
