We are seeking a motivated
Client Services & Collections Officer
to join our friendly team for approximately
20 hours per week
.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in commercial debt recovery, administration, customer service, banking, legal or credit who enjoys problem-solving, building strong client relationships, negotiating positive outcomes, and working in a professional office environment.
The successful applicant will become an important part of our growing business, with flexibility, ongoing training and opportunities to expand their role over time.
About the Role
Every day is different. You'll manage debtor accounts, communicate with clients and debtors and help drive successful recovery outcomes.
Responsibilities
Managing inbound and outbound debtor enquiries
Negotiating payment arrangements within company guidelines
Monitoring payment arrangements and following up missed payments
Preparing professional emails, letters and SMS communications
Accurately updating debtor notes and client records
Reviewing disputed accounts and escalating where appropriate
Liaising with clients regarding account progress and recommended next steps
Preparing client reports and general administration
Working within ACCC, ASIC and internal compliance requirements




Supporting our collection team with day-to-day file management

Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management skills
Confidence handling sensitive conversations professionally
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
A positive, professional attitude
Highly Regarded (but Not Essential)
Experience in debt collection, credit control, or finance
Knowledge of collections legislation and compliance requirements
Experience taking payments or managing customer accounts
Client services or account management experience
