Senior Blind & Curtain Technician — Operations Focus
Full Time | Sunshine Coast Based | Brisbane & Sunshine Coast Run
Company Vehicle + Training | National Brand
About Us
Amazing Clean is a national brand with over 30 years' experience in blinds and curtains. We supply, install, clean and repair window furnishings for residential and commercial clients across South East Queensland. We're in a growth phase, expanding our footprint across SEQ, and building out a stronger operational team to support it.
About the Role
This is a senior, full-time role based at our Marcoola office and warehouse on the Sunshine Coast, servicing our Brisbane and Sunshine Coast run. We're after an experienced window furnishings technician who brings more than repair skill — someone who has run jobs, managed their own schedule and stock, mentored junior staff, or contributed to how a small team or branch operates day to day.
Repair work is a significant and growing part of this role due to strong customer demand, alongside measuring, quoting and installation. As we grow, this role has a genuine path toward taking on greater operational responsibility — helping shape scheduling, quality standards and team workflow as the business expands into recent SEQ locations.
Hours are Monday to Friday, with every second Saturday. A short paid shadowing period is included.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and complete blind and curtain repairs across a wide range of mechanisms
Measure windows and prepare accurate quotes
Provide in-home customer advice on blinds and curtains
Uninstall and reinstall window furnishings for cleaning and repairs
Deliver professional, confident customer service in residential and commercial settings

Help coordinate daily job scheduling and route efficiency across the Brisbane/Sunshine Coast run
Support stock and van inventory management, flagging parts and supply needs proactively
Assist with onboarding, shadowing and skill development for newer technicians
Communicate clearly and proactively with the admin team on job status, delays and customer needs
Identify and flag process improvements as the business scales
Maintain a clean and organised company vehicle
What We Offer
Competitive salary plus commission opportunities
Company vehicle, tools and equipment supplied
Genuine progression path as the business opens new SEQ locations
Stable, full-time role with a well-established, growing brand
Supportive, family-owned team environment
What You'll Need
Minimum 2+ years' experience in blind and curtain repairs or installation (senior-level candidates preferred)
Demonstrated experience diagnosing and repairing a wide range of blind and curtain mechanisms with minimal supervision
Operational experience — e.g. running a run/route independently, managing stock or job scheduling, mentoring or supervising junior staff, or similar responsibility in a trade/field-service environment
Strong customer service and communication skills, with confidence dealing with customers in their homes and businesses
Good attention to detail and measuring ability
Physically capable of light lifting and ladder use (up to 20kg)
Highly reliable, organised and able to work independently with minimal oversight
Comfortable with regular travel across the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast areas
A team-first attitude with the initiative to help lift standards as we grow
