An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced
Senior Archivist
to lead information and records governance within a large and complex government environment. This role will play a critical part in strengthening information management capability, ensuring legislative compliance, and embedding best-practice records management across a significant enterprise-wide project.
This is a
full-time onsite position
and is not a hybrid role. 6 months VPS 6 contract role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic direction of information and records governance.
Manage, mentor and coordinate a large records administration team.
Provide expert advice across records, information, document, knowledge and content management.
Ensure compliance with Victorian information and records legislation, standards and governance frameworks.
Develop and implement policies, governance processes and quality assurance practices.
Drive organisational change to improve information management capability and records compliance.
You will bring:
Extensive experience in information and records management within a complex organisation.
Solid knowledge of the
Public Records Act **** (Vic)
,
Freedom of Information Act **** (Vic)
,
Information Privacy Act
and
Health Records Act
, together with associated compliance frameworks.
Experience leading and developing teams within large-scale projects or operational environments.
Demonstrated success implementing information governance frameworks and driving organisational change.
Excellent written communication skills, including preparing executive briefings, reports and policy documentation.
Ability to work
full-time onsite
