With a modern fleet, well-maintained equipment and a strong focus on safety and customer service, GT Recycling has established itself as a trusted name within the industry. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Semi Truck Driver to join their team based in Geelong.
About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Semi Truck Driver responsible for transporting a range of recyclable materials and waste products between customer sites, transfer stations and recycling facilities.
Working Monday to Friday (with occasional overtime available), you'll become an important part of a close-knit team that values reliability, professionalism and safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a semi-trailer combination across Geelong and surrounding regions.
Transport recyclable materials and waste products between customer sites and recycling facilities.
Complete daily pre-start inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks.




Ensure loads are safely secured and compliant with transport regulations.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logbooks and compliance records.
Communicate professionally with customers and the operations team.
Follow all company safety procedures and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
Assist with general yard duties when required.
What We're Looking For
Current MC Licence with previous semi-trailer driving experience.
Strong knowledge of Victorian road transport regulations and CoR requirements.
Excellent driving history and commitment to safe work practices.
Experience operating truck and trailer combinations.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
Experience within the recycling, waste, transport or logistics industries would be highly regarded.
