Hello Bendigo... Peppergreen Farm is Hiring a Training and Support Supervisor
The role will supervise the provision of training and support to Supported Employees living with disability and disadvantage in our Garden/Nursery and Grounds Maintenance teams at Peppergreen Farm.

Have full Australian working rights
Hold a full Australian driver's license
Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
Be able to pass a Working with Children Check

Be willing to complete a pre-employment assessment
Demonstrated ability to work with people who experience a broad range of disability types and require varying support needs.
Ability to undertake manual labour within Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.
Capacity to work outdoors in varying climatic conditions.
Proven capability to manage time and workload effectively to achieve business priorities in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work autonomously under limited supervision and as part of a team.
Demonstrated commitment, alignment and role modelling of WISE Employment's values.
A qualification in a related field ie. Disability or Community Services.
Relevant licences or willingness to obtain eg. Chemical Users, Forklift, Chainsaw Operators.
A day in the role involves...




Ensure production and service timelines and quality standards are met by supervising employees to perform specific tasks.
Be innovative in approach to ensure that all supported employees have a task they are capable of or can be trained in, whilst at the same time meeting commercial standards of quality and customer service.
Conduct on the job training and support for supported employees with disabilities working alongside them to deliver commercial services and products.
Manage daily challenges through creative problem solving and innovation.
Complete paperwork including rosters for Supported Employees, Supported Wage System Assessments, performance assessments, incident reports, case notes, job notes etc.
Liaise with customers on matters regarding service delivery including the provision of quotations.
Work with the Team Leader and other Training and Support Supervisors to plan and achieve social and financial outcomes for each business operation.
Ensure that all requirements of any client or host employer are adhered to by all members of the work teams.
The maintenance of a professional duty of care to employees at all times.
Be prepared to travel outside the City of Greater Bendigo.
Work as an effective member of a team.
Display a high level of personal integrity and professionalism when representing WISE.
Operate effectively under pressure from strict timelines,



service delivery imperatives and workload demand in terms of quality and quantity of outputs.
Actively contribute to the development of a culture consistent with the values of WISE Employment.
Be proactive in risk identification, notification and management.
Contribute to continuous quality and service delivery improvement through the organisation.

Requirements
Horticulture - Preferred but not essential
Skills and experience grounds maintenance - gardening and minor landscaping
Experience working within NDIS/Social Enterprise - Preferred not essential
Experience working alongside people with a disability
