Scientific Drilling International is seeking a Cased Hole Field Engineer to join our team in Sale, Victoria. This is a full-time position that will involve providing in office technical support and expertise for our clients across various field operations.
Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.
What you'll be doing
Perform technical field services for cased hole applications, including perforating, cased hole logging, and other associated services
Provide on-site operational support and troubleshooting to ensure the successful execution of field operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute field campaigns
Collect and analyse field data, generate reports, and provide recommendations to clients
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance field processes and procedures
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cased Hole Field Engineer or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry




Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with cased hole operations, logging, and other related services
Experience with both wireline and memory logging tools is required for cased hole operations is preferred, but not essential
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
Valid driver's licence and the willingness to work on-site at client locations as required
Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred
Must be local to Sale, Victoria or surrounding districts
