Cricket NSW (CNSW) is focused on leading and growing the game throughout the state. We oversee all cricket from elite professional teams to community, school, and social cricket programs. As a purpose and people led organisation, CNSW aims to inspire everyone to play and love cricket.
Our Wildly Important Goal (WIG) is to grow the number of 5–12-year-olds playing cricket. To deliver on our WIG and strategic priorities we have a collaborative, customer-centric approach. ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Event Manager – Sydney Thunder, in this role you will:
Lead the planning and execution of assigned Sydney Thunder events, activations and fanexperiences
Support the delivery of Sydney Thunder WBBL and BBL home matches
Lead the creation and delivery of the Thunder events calendar, including match days, fanengagement initiatives and member experiences
Coordinate event logistics including venues, suppliers, contractors, permits, staffing andequipment requirements
Work collaboratively with Marketing, Commerial, Community Cricket, Communicationsand High Performance
Manage relationships with venues, councils, suppliers, agencies and community partners
ABOUT YOU
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Previous experience in event management, operations, sport, entertainment or relatedindustries




Strong project management, organisational and attention to detail skills
Exceptional stakeholder and relationship building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work match days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
