About the Role
This role involves delivering engaging Dance and Performing Arts programs across primary and secondary schools throughout Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
No two days are the same.
You'll inspire students through movement, build relationships with school communities and become a trusted representative of the Kinect Performing Arts brand.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver fun,
engaging and curriculum-aligned Dance and Performing Arts lessons
Create an inclusive classroom where every student feels confident to participate
Build strong relationships with teachers, school leadership and students
Travel to schools across Melbourne and surrounding areas
Maintain high teaching standards while following Kinect lesson plans and program structure
Contribute positively to our supportive team culture
Assist with concerts, school productions and special events
About You
We're looking for someone who is energetic, reliable and loves making a positive impact.
Passion for dance, movement and working with children
Experience teaching dance or performing arts
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional presentation and a positive attitude
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
A willingness to travel throughout Melbourne
Highly Regarded
Experience teaching within primary or secondary schools
Experience delivering group fitness, performing arts or children's entertainment programs
Knowledge of Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets and Gmail)
