HOBAN Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Patient Safety Manager for our client that isa leading global pharmaceutical company based in Mulgrave.
This is a 12-month full-time contract opportunity via HOBAN Recruitment, offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement(3 days office & 2 days WFH) and an excellent opportunity for a Patient Safety / Pharmacovigilance professional to contribute to global medicine safety initiatives and support compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with regional and global Patient Safety teams, playing a key role in pharmacovigilance activities including safety monitoring, risk management, regulatory reporting, and ensuring the ongoing safety of medicines.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will support a broad range of Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance activities, including:
Supporting the development and implementation of Risk Management Plans
Providing safety information and contributing to benefit-risk assessments
Supporting PV audit and inspection readiness activities
Planning, processing, and reporting aggregate safety reports to Health Authorities and Ethics Committees (where required)
Supporting the implementation and maintenance of Pharmacovigilance Agreements
Maintaining PV awareness and training activities
Managing the collection, review, follow-up, and submission of adverse event cases, including:Spontaneous reports: Literature cases, Solicited reports andPost-marketing safety cases
Ensuring local market safety data quality and compliance
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, Medical, and global Patient Safety teams
About You
To be successful in this role,
you will have:
A university degree (preferably in Life Sciences) or nursing qualification
2–3 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare, or medical environment
Previous experience in Pharmacovigilance, Patient Safety, Drug Safety, or Medical Information
Knowledge and understanding of local and international PV regulations, including ICH and CIOMS guidelines
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with local and global stakeholders
