Full Throttle Custom Garage Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced
Motor Mechanic
to join our team on a
full‐time basis
at our workshop in Beresfield, NSW. This role is integral to our operations, as you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards whilst ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. As a Motor Mechanic, you will be at the heart of our business, delivering quality workmanship and contributing to the reputation of our garage within the local community and beyond.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical expertise
Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections and fluid top‐ups
Repair and replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems and electrical systems
Conduct pre‐and post‐repair inspections to ensure work meets quality and safety standards
Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including parts used and labour hours
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair requirements, timelines and costs
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work environment
Keep up to date with new vehicle technologies and repair techniques through ongoing professional development
Work collaboratively with other team members to complete repairs efficiently and to schedule
What we're looking for
Completion of an apprenticeship in automotive mechanics or equivalent qualification recognised by industry bodies
Current Australian driver's licence (manual preference)
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Motor Mechanic in a professional workshop environment
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and hand and power tools commonly used in automotive repair
Solid knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions,



brakes, electrical and suspension
Excellent problem‐solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‐quality workmanship
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to customers clearly
Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
Physical fitness to perform manual work and lift heavy components
Experience in custom vehicle work or specialised repairs is highly desirable
Knowledge of current automotive safety standards and regulations is preferred
