Lab Assistant
to support the RnD Teamand help us deliver of flavour solutions to our customers in a socially ethical, responsible, and sustainable way.
YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS




To be a complimentary fit for this role you will have:
Diploma in Chemistry, Food Science or a similar equivalent qualification.
Passionate about food and the science behind the making of food
Collaborative and effective team player.
Be proactive and predictive with processes and production.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Clear, professional, and articulate communication.
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
High levels of initiative.

YOUR ROLE
You will be key support to the RnD development team, ensuring that the relevant raw materials are available and undertake any relevant tasks in assisting the process of making flavour.
Overview
assist in the delivery and preparation of samples, formulations and related tasks for the customers. Support reactive and proactive marketing presentations and goals.
Sensory
assist in the lab with projects by preparing and setting up flavour tastings for internal evaluation.
Briefs
Blending, preparing and setup of concept tastings, flavour evaluations.
Samples
prepare, package and dispatch client samples.
Collaboration
you will work collaboratively with the relevant departments and equip yourself with knowledge and information required to fulfill and complete your day-to-day tasks.
Rotation
Ability to provide support to either Creations and/or applications teams and tasks as delegated by the line manager.
Approach
you will be dynamic, flexible, and collaborative in approach to internal and external projects.
Raw materials -
Maintain and organise the raw materials in an orderly manner. Replenish and update stock of raw materials.
Maintenance of lab
ensure the lab is clean and organised for the following day's work. Ensure equipment is clean and kept in an orderly fashion.
