Join the warehouse team at an established underground mine site
Monday-to-Friday role offering consistent 7.00am-3.00pm hours
Initial 6-7-month casual contract with the possibility of extension
Varied role across warehousing, inventory, ordering and site deliveries
The company
Join an established underground mining operation located in Central Victoria, approximately 45 minutes from Bendigo.
The site offers a close-knit working workplace and continues to invest in its operations and future growth.
You will join an established supply team consisting of three other Warehouse Officers, an Inventory Controller and a Purchasing Officer.
The role
Primarily based at one of the operation's sites, you will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse and complete deliveries to a second site located approximately 2km away.
Your duties will include:
Loading and unloading stock and inventory
Completing deliveries between the two sites
Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods
Picking, packing and distributing stock
Ordering stock and assisting with inventory requirements
Updating inventory and warehouse management systems
Supporting stocktakes and general stock control
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse
Working closely with the inventory, purchasing and wider site teams
The site uses Pronto; however, experience using Sage, Max or a similar inventory management system will also be highly regarded.
The hours and contract

This is initially a 6-7-month casual contract.
Monday to Friday
7.00am-3.00pm
Day shift only
Up to $*****ph casual rate + super
There may be potential for the assignment to extend if everything is going well and an ongoing position becomes available; however, this cannot be guaranteed.
Your skills and experience
You'll come to the role with previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience and a reliable, hands-on approach.
You'll also have:
Current forklift licence
(essential)
Current MR driver's licence
(essential)
Experience with goods receiving, stock handling and deliveries
Good computer literacy and confidence using inventory systems
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and within a close-knit team
A strong attitude towards safety
Reliable transport and the ability to commute to site
Previous experience using Pronto, Sage or Max would be highly regarded
Experience within mining, heavy industry, mechanical parts or an industrial warehouse would also be beneficial.
You'll join an established warehouse team in a varied role covering stores, inventory, ordering and deliveries between two nearby sites.
