Operating Theatres | Perioperative Services Monash Health is inviting Expressions of Interest from current staff for a Grade 1 Theatre Technician position within the Operating Theatres.
Roster Requirement (Essential): Night shift - 70 hours per fortnight Tuesday to Friday one week Wednesday to Friday the alternate week Applicants must be available and willing to work this fixed night‐shift pattern. About the Role
About the Role
Patient transport to, from, and within the theatre complex
Patient positioning and preparation for surgery
Theatre set‐up with surgery‐specific equipment
Ensuring equipment is available, functional, and maintained
Cleaning of equipment and work areas in line with policies
Supporting infection control and OH&S; requirements
Other duties as delegated by the theatre team
About You (Grade 1)
Suitable for staff with minimum hospital experience
Performs duties of a general nature under direct supervision
Less than 12 months' experience, with or working toward Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Operating Theatre-Technical Support)
Willingness to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends
Basic computer skills (Outlook-Word)
Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
Flexible, reliable, and willing to learn
Eligibility
Current Monash Health employee
Must meet mandatory requirements including immunisation status, Police Check, and Working With Children Check
