is a family-owned, established business based in Hallam, specializing in the manufacture of high-quality aluminum windows. Our team enjoys a culture that encourages both autonomy and teamwork, and we are looking to expand our workforce with a dedicated and reliable MR Driver to join our team.
We have an opportunity for an MR Driver to assist in the transportation of windows and doors to various locations. The role requires someone who is not only skilled in safe driving but also has the physical strength and reliability to handle and deliver large windows and doors to building sites within the local and regional areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Hold and maintain a current MR (Medium Rigid) Licence
Perform lifting and handling of windows and doors
Work both independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient transportation
Safely drive to and from various job sites, ensuring timely deliveries
Transport large windows and doors, ensuring the integrity of items during transit
Collect items,
strap them securely, and ensure safe delivery to customer orders at building sites
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
Physically fit and able to handle lifting tasks
Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and clients
Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage deliveries efficiently
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of work
Proven safe driving record with an emphasis on safety in transit
