As the CloudOps Lead at Quartex, you will spearhead our cloud infrastructure strategy, ensuring that our digital environment remains highly available, scalable, and secure. You will take ownership of the operational lifecycle, guiding the team through complex deployments and optimizing our cloud footprint to align with evolving business objectives. What you'll do
Architect, manage, and continuously refine our cloud infrastructure to maximize system performance, cost-efficiency, and security posture.
Lead the strategic implementation of cloud-native solutions, working in tandem with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of critical applications, from initial deployment phases through to production monitoring and maintenance.
Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, ensuring that all environment provisioning is repeatable, version-controlled, and automated.
Establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks to proactively identify and resolve potential system bottlenecks.




Mentor junior team members, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and technical growth within the Cloud Operations department.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis, implementing preventative measures to minimize downtime and enhance system resilience.
Collaborate with security stakeholders to ensure all cloud environments adhere to industry-standard compliance and internal security policies.
Streamline deployment processes by integrating automated testing and delivery mechanisms into the existing infrastructure.
Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and methodologies to ensure Quartex remains at the forefront of operational efficiency.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience specifically within cloud operations, site reliability engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing enterprise-grade environments on major cloud platforms, specifically AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Deep, hands–on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks and automation tooling to manage complex cloud topologies.
Proven capability in utilizing advanced monitoring and observability stacks to guarantee high availability and system reliability.




Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to remain composed and effective when working under high-pressure scenarios.
Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for seamless communication with both technical engineers and non-technical business stakeholders.
A proactive mindset toward system optimization, with a history of successfully identifying and eliminating technical debt.
Nice to have
Practical experience in orchestrating containerized workloads using Kubernetes or similar container management platforms.
Solid understanding of DevOps philosophies, including the design and maintenance of sophisticated CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with cloud cost management and optimization strategies to ensure budget adherence.
Exposure to serverless architectures and microservices-based deployments.
Skills & tools
Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent industry-standard tools.
Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, or similar monitoring and logging suites.
Scripting & Automation: Advanced proficiency in Python, Bash, or other relevant automation languages.
Version Control: Git-based workflows and CI/CD integration.
