We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Post Construction & Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead post-completion services across our portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of construction, maintenance, client service and asset performance, providing a unique opportunity to influence how buildings are managed long after handover.
Working closely with clients, asset owners, building managers, body corporates, consultants and trade partners, you will oversee warranty obligations, defect management, remedial works and ongoing maintenance activities, ensuring every asset continues to perform to the highest standard.
More than a traditional defects role, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of a growing facilities maintenance function, helping shape systems, service delivery standards and long‐term client relationships while working within an established and respected construction business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Post-Construction & Defects Management
Lead all warranty, defects liability and remedial works activities from notification through to successful close‐out.
Investigate and diagnose building defects, including waterproofing failures, water ingress, concrete cracking and other post‐construction issues.
Develop rectification scopes, engage contractors and manage repairs to completion.
Assess defect claims against contractual obligations, Australian Standards and relevant building regulations.
Protect commercial outcomes by ensuring rectification works align with contractual and statutory requirements.
Facilities Maintenance & Asset Performance
Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities across managed properties.
Monitor service delivery performance and ensure maintenance programs are delivered to a high standard.
Maintain accurate job tracking, reporting and compliance documentation.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance systems, operational processes and client outcomes.
Contractor & Stakeholder Management
Hold subcontractors accountable for warranty obligations, workmanship quality and agreed contract requirements.
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, asset owners, body corporates, building managers and trade partners.




Manage contractor performance, pricing, service quality and response times.
Provide proactive communication and regular updates to stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of works.
Compliance & Quality
Maintain a strong understanding of Australian Standards, NCC requirements and building compliance obligations.
Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with safety, quality and environmental requirements.
Drive quality outcomes that protect both client interests and company reputation.

You will also bring:
Experience within facilities management, building operations, maintenance services or construction delivery.
Strong understanding of building maintenance, defect diagnosis and remedial construction.
Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC requirements and building compliance.
Experience managing contractors, service providers and maintenance programs.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship‐building skills.
Commercial awareness with the ability to manage costs, contractor performance and service outcomes.
Excellent organisational and reporting capabilities.
A proactive, solutions‐focused approach and commitment to delivering outstanding client experiences.
