About the Role
Provide classroom support under the direction of teaching staff.
Work one-on-one or with small groups of students to reinforce learning and engagement.
Support students with additional learning needs and assist with the implementation of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
Assist with preparing learning resources and classroom activities.
Provide supervision during classroom activities, recess, excursions and other school events.
Support students with personal care and mobility needs where required.
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with teachers and relevant staff.
Foster a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
What You'll Bring
Certificate IV in School Based Education Support (or working towards/completed) is highly regarded.
Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, flexible and proactive approach to supporting students.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
