Co-Pilot Finance & Insurance is a Nation wide-based finance and insurance brokerage helping clients navigate home loans, asset finance/Cashflow and insurance solutions.
We're growing our team and looking for a driven Mortgage Broker to join us — whether you're an experienced broker ready to write more loans, or someone building a book and wanting the security of a base while you ramp up.
About the Role
You'll manage the end-to-end loan process for a mix of warm leads and self-generated business — from initial client contact through to settlement — while building long-term relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
Two ways to structure this role — we'll tailor it to what suits you:
Option 1 — Commission-Only, Leads Provided
Highly competitive commission split
Consistent flow of qualified leads supplied by the business
Ideal for an established broker who wants to maximise earning potential without lead-generation overhead
Option 2 — Small Base + Commission
Modest base salary for income stability
Commission plan on top, scaling with settlements
Suited to a broker building their pipeline or newer to the industry who wants some certainty while they grow their book
What You'll Be Doing




Assessing client financial situations and recommending suitable loan products
Liaising with a panel of lenders to structure and submit applications
Guiding clients through approval, documentation, and settlement
Maintaining compliance with responsible lending obligations and industry regulations
Keeping accurate records in the CRM/aggregator platform
What We're Looking For
Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (minimum) — Diploma highly regarded
Current membership with MFAA or FBAA & AFCA
Australian Credit Licence or authorisation under a Credit Representative arrangement
Sound knowledge of lending policy, loan products, and the broking process
Strong communication and client-relationship skills
Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing your own pipeline
Prior broking experience preferred but not essential for the base + commission pathway
Min 2 years experience
