About the role
The HSEQ Systems & Reporting Advisor is responsible for the development, administration, and continuous improvement of HSEQ information systems, data analytics, and reporting frameworks across the business.
The role is to administer the HSEQ IT platforms to ensure accurate, timely, and meaningful HSEQ data is captured, analysed, and communicated to drive compliance, performance improvement, and informed decision-making across waste management operations. The role is also key in project managing improvement programs for these systems to ensure
This position supports the organisation in meeting its obligations under WHS legislation, environmental regulations, and quality standards, while enhancing system integration and user engagement.
Responsibilities
HSEQ Systems Management
Administer and maintain HSEQ IT platforms (e.g. incident management, audit systems, Asset, Chemical, Fleet Telematics systems etc.).
Lead the development and continuous improvement of the various HSEQ compliance systems.
Ensure accuracy of data and inputs into the system.
Manage system configuration, workflows, user access, and data integrity.
Support system integration with operational and corporate platforms (e.g. ERP, HR systems).




Reporting & Data Analytics
Develop and maintain HSEQ dashboards and reports (e.g. Injury, actions, inspections, compliance related to the platform and data captured).
Analyse HSEQ performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Provide regular and ad hoc reporting to executives, operational leaders, and external stakeholders.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal and regulatory reporting requirements.
Incident, Inspection, Compliance & Risk Management Support
Support incident reporting, investigation, and data analysis processes.
Maintain systems for hazard, incident, and corrective action tracking.
Assist in identifying systemic risks through data insights and trend analysis.
Contribute to risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain integrity of data in the system.
Stakeholder Engagement & Training
Provide training and support to users on HSEQ systems and reporting tools.
Engage with operations, contractors, and leadership to improve system utilisation.
Translate complex HSEQ data into clear, practical insights for operational teams.
Experience
Experience in HSEQ systems, reporting, or analytics (preferably within industrial, logistics or waste sectors).
Robust data analysis and reporting capability (Excel, Power BI or similar).
Experience administering HSEQ or compliance software platforms.




Sound understanding of WHS legislation and environmental compliance in Australia.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes.
Experience in Waste and Transport.
Knowledge of EPA waste compliance and chain of responsibility principles.
Experience with audit and certification systems.
Exposure to digital transformation or system implementation projects.
