Job Summary:
The Solutions Architect - Data Platforms is responsible for defining and owning the architectural blueprint for HUB24's data ecosystem. This role designs scalable, secure,



and commercially effective data solutions using modern data platform technologies.
Working closely with product teams, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, the architect translates business requirements into actionable solution designs, ensuring optimal value from data investments while maintaining high standards of quality, governance, and performance.
Responsibilities:
Architecture & Solution Design
Design and own the end-to-end data platform architecture aligned with business strategy
Develop scalable, secure, and high-quality solution architectures using modern data tools and frameworks
Define standards, design patterns, and best practices across data platforms
Ensure data solutions meet requirements for quality, completeness, accuracy, and governance
Delivery & Execution
Drive on-time, on-budget delivery of data capabilities
Ensure adherence to development, security, and quality standards
Contribute to technology initiatives and continuous platform optimisation
Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with product, engineering, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into solutions
Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ensure solutions are client-centric and aligned to business priorities
Leadership & Mentorship
Mentor and guide data, integration, and analytics engineers (onshore and offshore)
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence
Contribute to training, design guides, and capability uplift
Requirements:
Experience & Expertise
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Solution Architect or Senior Solution Designer in data environments
Strong background designing enterprise-scale data platforms and architectures
Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD, automation, and testing practices
Modern Data Stack:
Databricks, Python, dbt, Fivetran, GCP
Solid understanding of data modelling (logical & physical)
Data governance, security, and quality management practices
Source control and deployment pipelines
Ability to design scalable, maintainable,



and interoperable data solutions
Strong documentation and technical communication skills
Experience in platform optimisation and automation strategies
Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong stakeholder communication and influence
Client-focused mindset with commercial awareness
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
High attention to detail and structured approach
Collaborative, team-oriented with mentoring capability
Growth mindset with continuous learning focus
