About our Client
Our leading global mining and resource client is a leading producer of iron ore, copper, metallurgical coal, nickel and potash.
As part of their Minerals Australia operation, you will have the chance to work onsite with one of the world's most significant deposits of copper, gold and uranium including underground and surface operations and operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal.
What you will be doing
Working as a Hydro Technician, Solvent Extraction at Olympic Dam you will be required to
Work as part of a team in the Hydromet/Solvent Extraction Department on Surface
Comply with all Safety standards and procedures
Identify required maintenance
Ability to work independently completing sample runs and times
Perform prestart inspections and safety checks on equipment
Communicate effectively with the control room via twoway radio
What you will need
Proven experience within Mining Industry (desired but not essential)
Ability to work independently
Experience working in outdoor, physically demanding environments




Comfortable working at heights, such as elevated walkways or jetty walls
