All Purpose Pumps is medium-sized privately-owned company of approx. 150 team members, and has been operating since ****. With a passion for quality pump solutions and systems, we partner with plumbers, fire sprinkler contractors, builders, building managers, and consultants across a variety of industries.
All Purpose Pumps (APP) has dedicated modern offices and manufacturing facilities in both Hoppers Crossing and Corio, Victoria.
This is a permanent, full time (40 hours per week) ongoing role with RDOs and regular overtime and competitive pay based on experience.
Our On-Road Service Team provides vital superior technical support and maintenance services to our clients. As the face-to-face portion of the broader Service team, an average day includes liaising with stakeholders (including APP team members), travelling to sites, conducting hands‐on investigations (triage, diagnose and repair), and representing APP across our customer sites.




We work across a broad range of pumping systems and in a variety of working environments. Our dynamic, and highly-skilled Service team is made up of technicians with varying areas of expertise and specialism who work collaboratively to deliver the best possible client, and end‐customer experience.
About you
Qualified Diesel Mechanic (experience in a similar role highly regarded)
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
The ability to read construction drawings and identify areas of non‐compliance.
Highly developed communication skills, professional attitude and great personal presentation
Valid Australian driver's license (current and active).
Willing to complete a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, solutions‐focussed team
Solid Customer Focus and awareness of the importance of representing APP as a united team with the ultimate goal of an excellent customer experience front of mind
Key Responsibilities
Manage all on‐site installation, repair, maintenance, and test‐tasks as required - in line with all relevant safety and national standards
Provide excellent customer service support during field visits whilst always maintaining professionalism
Carry out work including fault finding,



including Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
Conduct commissioning, warranties, repair, and breakdown jobs including testing
Understand (and pre‐empt) customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
Ensure that all required repairs are completed efficiently and cost effectively, and that all repairs are documented in detail
Maintain accurate reporting and documentation on all jobs in CRM
Coordinate and collaborate with office support staff to ensure that customer needs are met
