Urban Apartments Melbourne on Elizabeth
, both located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.
This unique role offers variety, with shifts rostered across both properties. You'll work between the
award-winning 34-room boutique Adelphi Hotel on Flinders Lane
and
Urban Apartments Melbourne on Elizabeth
, a premium serviced apartment property offering modern apartment-style accommodation just moments away on Elizabeth Street. Working across both locations, you'll play an important role in ensuring our guests enjoy a consistently clean, comfortable and welcoming stay.

Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service guest rooms, apartments and public areas to the highest presentation standards.
Complete departure, stayover and deep cleans efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Ensure guest amenities, linen and housekeeping supplies are replenished and presented to brand standards.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, back-of-house areas and housekeeping storerooms.
Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
Ensure housekeeping trolleys, equipment and supplies are maintained in a clean, organised and well-stocked condition.
Work efficiently to achieve daily room turnaround times while maintaining quality standards.
Deliver friendly, professional service when interacting with guests.




Work collaboratively with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Assist with additional housekeeping duties across both properties as required.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience within hotels, serviced apartments or accommodation is preferred, however training will be provided to the right candidate.
A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Exceptional attention to detail and pride in maintaining high presentation standards.
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team workplace.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual handling duties throughout the day.
Flexibility to work across both Melbourne CBD properties as rostered.
A commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
Previous experience using hotel housekeeping systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
Position Details:
This position is available on a casual, part-time or full-time basis for the right candidate. Flexibility is essential, with shifts rostered across a 7-day week, including weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
As this role supports both Adelphi Hotel and Urban Apartments Melbourne on Elizabeth, successful applicants must be comfortable working between both Melbourne CBD locations.
