About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable trade qualified Automotive Painter to join our expanding team. You
must
be Automotive Refinishing Technology trade qualified
As a vehicle painter you are critical in maintaining a quality finish and an efficient workflow. Your responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and filling to achieve a smooth, paint-ready finish
Surface preparation including priming, buffing and denibbing as per job sheet,
Apply primer coats and base/transparent coat finishes using spray equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Inspect finished work for quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications
be able to work productively and efficiently with limited supervision.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, including proper disposal of waste materials
Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment
Is this for you? We are looking for
trade qualified with relevant and proven experience as spray painter within the automotive industry. With a strong understanding of all aspects of surface prep and Spray painting methods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high quality finish
Reliable, punctual, trustworthy with good time management skills,
Handle all vehicles with due care and attention,
Hold a valid Open Australian Drivers Licence with the ability to drive a manual
Have full Australian work rights,
Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team,
Be able to pass medical and police checks if and when required
