About the Role
This is a Permanent full time position working Monday- Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm
You will be responsibilities will include:
Planning and allocating freight to maximise fleet utilisation while maintaining safety and compliance
Coordinating daily transport activities with customers and drivers
Monitoring and managing driver compliance with Standard Hours, BFM and AFM requirements
Responding to operational changes and customer priorities in a fast paced environment
Planning and rostering to meet operational requirements
Supervising and supporting drivers and operational staff
Ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management and Company procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:




Previous experience within the transport and logistics industry, ideally in an operations, scheduling or allocator role.
A sound understanding of Heavy Vehicle National Law, Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management requirements.
Solid organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers, drivers and colleagues.
High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
The following will be highly regarded
Operations Schedulers Certification (TLIF****) or a willingness to obtain.
Experience within refrigerated, FMCG or palletised freight operations.
Truck licence and/or High Risk Forklift Licence.
Knowledge of warehouse operations.
