About the role
As a Client Liaison Officer, you will provide accurate, helpful and supportive assistance to members of the public through multi-platform channels.
Key responsibilities
Respond to inbound enquiries relating to fines and infringement notices
Deliver qualified and empathetic client service using effective questioning and communication techniques
Manage complex or sensitive conversations using negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Analyse, interpret and apply relevant legislation, policies and procedures
Use sound judgement to make appropriate decisions and recommendations
Maintain the confidentiality and security of client information
Build positive working relationships and contribute to a supportive team culture
About you
Previously worked in a contact centre
You have strong communication skills and can confidently manage a high volume of client enquiries
You can remain professional, empathetic and solutions-focused when managing challenging conversations
You can interpret legislation, policy and complex information, or can quickly develop this capability
You are confident using digital systems and learning new technologies
You are reliable, adaptable and committed to delivering excellent client service
