Key Responsibilities
Lead the warehousing team to succeed in efficiency, compliance and initiative – fostering a positive and accountable team culture
Workforce planning which optimises resources deployment and manages operational staffing costs
Identify and execute initiatives to optimise workflow, space requirements and equipment layout
Manage inventory tracking system to record deliveries and stock levels
Monitor team performance and support individual progress and capability growth
Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety policies and procedures
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3+ years proven experience in a fast-paced Warehousing and Logistics business
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems as well as transport and logistics processes
Ability to lead, drive and manage a large diverse team with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Sound experience in Translogix, WMS Logistics and Microsoft office is desirable
Experience with implementing process improvement initiatives
Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines and effectively balance priorities
