About our role
Northern Star has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced
Fixed Plant Fitter
to carry out maintenance & repairs of all fixed plant equipment within the processing plant across our world class
Jundee
operations, located in the Goldfields. This position is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off permanent roster, with FIFO ex Perth only.
Here's what awaits you...
Carry out routine inspections of machinery and fixed plant including preventative measures and condition reporting.
Assessing the assigned job and obtaining tools and equipment to complete the assigned work.
Service breakdowns including pumps and conveyors
Processing and crusher part replacements and repairs
Ensure quality of information in CMMS (Pronto) database by providing accurate history, job time, hours worked and feedback to Supervisors.
Participate in an call out roster as required
To thrive in this role, you'll need...
Experience:
Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience on fixed plant equipment; crusher, mill & centrifugal pump rebuild experience & hydraulic fault finding and diagnostics (favourable).
Qualifications:
Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting and Machining; current Australian Drivers Licence; computer literacy - Microsoft Office & CMMS
