Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Officer
An exciting opportunity has been created for a Permanent - Full TimeICT Officer to join our team, based inParramatta.
Therole will provide both remote and on-site ICT support to staff across all sites and programs that encompass Indie Education inclusive of Indie School, Indie College, Aware Programs and Corporate Services.
Indie Education is aneducational hub and home to a family of training and educational programs, providing learning services for all age groups, driven by a team that is dedicated and passionate about lifelong learning.
Our programs cater for the needs and interests of young people, senior secondary school students in Years 9 to 12, the general community, third age learners, and adults with a disability in supported employment, training and lifestyle activities.
Desired Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will be organised and have strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
You will be able to work autonomously, prioritise competing tasks and work collaboratively with the ICT Support team and other stakeholders to ensure tickets are triaged, assigned and resolved appropriately.
Preferred skills and experience:
Experienceinahelpdeskandremotesupportenvironment is preferred.
Knowledge of a variety oftechnologies that may include Microsoft365, WindowsServer,Exchange, SharePoint and Mobile Management tools.
Understanding of Network Fundamentals at a helpdesk level.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to assess ticket priority and assign requests to the appropriate Assignment Group.
Device setup and configuration.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
This role will include:
Supporting the organisation through our internal helpdesk.
Involvement in M365 administration and support.
Supporting remote site networks & infrastructure.
Supporting primarily Windows and Android based systems.
Contributing to IT-related tasks and projects using appropriate technologies.




Troubleshooting and resolving problems.
User management and support.
Maintaining asset registers.
Possible on-call rostering.
Communicating with colleagues and stakeholders effectively.
For this role, applicants must be willing and able to obtain:
Current Driver's licence.
National Police Check (issued within 3 months prior to appointment) and renewed annually.
Relevant State Working with Children's Check.
Unrestrictedworking rights in Australia.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Remuneration:
Level 3 (Indie Education Enterprise Agreement *********), currently $80,364 per annum plus superannuation.
