About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Store Manager
to lead our Horsham VIC store. This is a

, where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations and driving business success. As Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional customer experience, managing team performance, and achieving sales and profitability targets. Your leadership will be instrumental in establishing a positive store culture and ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the business.
Key responsibilities
Lead, manage and develop a team of sales and customer service staff, providing coaching, training and performance feedback
Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management and merchandise display
Drive sales performance and work towards achieving store targets and KPIs
Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times, creating a welcoming and professional environment
Manage inventory control, stocktaking and ordering processes to maintain optimal product availability
Monitor store budgets, control costs and maximise profitability
Implement visual merchandising and promotional strategies to enhance product presentation and drive customer engagement
Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally,



resolving issues to ensure satisfaction
Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and local legislation
Report on store performance metrics and provide regular updates
Recruit, interview and onboard new team members as required
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably within the flooring, carpet or home improvement sector
Solid leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and manage P&L; responsibilities
Excellent customer service orientation with a proven track record of delivering exceptional experiences
Robust organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Knowledge of visual merchandising and retail best practices
Proficiency in retail systems and point-of-sale technology
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A professional appearance and commitment to maintaining high standards
Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
