About the role
An exciting opportunity to utilise your professional skillsand passion for the environment in a role that has a focus on providing a highlevel of strategic and operational management to our Climate Emergency andEnvironment service area, including biodiversity, climate emergency action plandelivery, education and awareness, sustainability, and capital works programdelivery.
Ensurethe delivery of the organisation's commitment to actioning the declaredclimate emergency.
Deliveryof strategic guidance and operational management for biodiversity andsustainability.
Deliveryof community initiatives and programs to enhance the safety of thecommunity and the sustainability of the environment.
Skills and experience
Tertiaryqualified in a relevant field.
Highlyexperienced leader of a customer-focused team delivering integratedclimate, sustainability, and biodiversity services to the community.




Ableto develop and deliver work programs and systems that successfully delivercommitments in capital programming and actions associated with the adoptedClimate Emergency Action Plan and meet the needs of the community
Flexibleto respond to changing priorities and able to complete tasks within tighttimeframes.
Aproblem solver, able to resolve complex operational and service deliveryissues to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
Anegotiator, able to influence outcomes to achieve organisationalobjectives.
Knowledgeablein government and local government organisations.
