This is a hands on role that requires the right candidate to jump in and lead the team often within.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
Ensure compliance with client-specific SOPs and SLAs
Monitor workflow to meet productivity, accuracy, and on-time shipping targets
Coordinate with shipping lines to unload containers within scheduled timeline
Liaise with approved suppliers for mechanical repairs/ servicing of equipment
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse associates
Assign work, set performance expectations, and conduct performance evaluations
Enforce company policies, safety rules, and attendance standards
Support onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing employees
Inventory & Quality Control
Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Ensure proper handling, storage, and labelling of products
Maintain high picking and packing accuracy rates
Safety & Compliance
Promote a safe work environment and ensure OSHA and company safety standards are followed
Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations




Ensure proper use of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, Internal Docks and RF scanners
Systems & Reporting
Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF technology to track inventory and orders
Generate daily productivity, inventory, and performance reports
Communicate operational updates and issues to management
Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and cost control
Assist in implementing new clients, processes, or technologies
Qualifications
Required
2–5 years of warehouse or distribution experience, preferably in a 3PL environment
1–3 years of supervisory or team lead experience
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control
Experience with WMS and RF scanning systems
MS Office
Preferred
Experience managing multiple clients or accounts
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety programs
Leadership and team-building skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Explicit verbal and written communication
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
