We are seeking a highly experiencedSenior Geotechnical Engineerto join our Sydney team. This role is part of our national structural engineering team, comprising over 40 engineers across Australia, offering the opportunity to shape technical direction, mentor emerging leaders, and contribute to major infrastructure and industrial projects nationwide.
We are looking for someone who combines outstanding engineering expertise with a practical, client-focused approach. Success in this role requires the ability to build strong relationships, understand clients' challenges, and develop solutions that meet their needs efficiently and effectively. You will be someone who can cut through complexity, identify the simplest and most effective path forward, and provide trusted technical leadership across a diverse range of projects.
What we need from you:
Chartered Professional Engineer (Engineers Australia).




Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or higher).
Competence in a range of software (Rocscience RS2/Slide/Dips/Unwedge, Midas GTS NX, paper and pencil!).
5+ years' experience.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing project demands.
The ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects.
