We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Melbourne (inner suburbs). This is an excellent prospect for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys managing people, projects and day-to-day operations. You will play a key role in driving operational performance, supporting your team and ensuring exceptional outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership, direction and support to operational teams to achieve business objectives
Oversee the successful delivery of daily operations while maintaining high standards of service
Monitor operational performance, identify trends and implement practical improvements
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
Develop, mentor and empower team members to maximise engagement and performance
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards and workplace safety requirements
Assist with planning, budgeting and resource forecasting to support operational demands
Investigate operational challenges and implement effective, long-term solutions
Contribute to business growth by identifying efficiencies and supporting strategic initiatives

About You
Proven experience leading teams within an operations, service delivery or project-based environment
The ability to motivate, mentor and develop people while fostering a positive team culture
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with sound judgement and decision-making ability
A commitment to continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to enhance operational performance
A strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles
The flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and support the wider leadership team when required
