We're seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to support a local government team in the Wollongong region.
This is an initial one-week assignment, with the potential for further opportunities for the right person who demonstrates a solid work ethic and makes a positive impression on site.
You'll be responsible for operating excavators across a variety of civil maintenance and infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on role, so you'll also need to be willing to jump out of the machine and assist with general labouring duties as required.
About the role:
Operate excavators safely and efficiently
Assist with general civil labouring and maintenance tasks
Work on roads, drainage, footpaths and other public infrastructure
Follow safe work practices and site procedures
Work as part of a collaborative crew
To be successful you'll have:
Demonstrated experience operating excavators in a civil environment
Relevant plant operator tickets/licences
White Card
Current driver's licence (HR licence highly regarded)
A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
A willingness to undertake physical labour when required
