We are seeking a skilled and experiencedLight Vehicle Mechanicto join the workshop team at North Coast Petroleum.
This is a full-time position at Mckees hill NSW **** at our workshop and maintenance facility .
As a Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of light vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality service to our customers and maintaining the reliability of our vehicles.
This role offers the prospect to work in a dynamic workshop environment where your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will be valued and developed.
Key responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-ups and general inspections
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment and testing procedures
Repair and replace vehicle components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems and steering components
Keep detailed and accurate records of all maintenance and repair work completed
Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
Maintain workshop equipment and tools in good working order
What we're looking for




Current and valid Light Vehicle Mechanic qualification or equivalent recognised trade certification
Proven experience working as a light vehicle mechanic in a professional workshop environment
Proficiency with vehicle diagnostic equipment and computer-based diagnostic systems
Strong knowledge of light vehicle mechanical, electrical and brake systems
Ability to read and interpret workshop manuals, technical drawings and service bulletins
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
