We are seeking an experiencedFlow Meter Testing & Calibration Technicianto join our growing team inEmu Plains, NSW.
Supporting critical projects across theDepartment of Defenceandmajor petrochemical industry clients, this role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and technically challenging calibration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable qualified with a strongmechanical background, experience inflow meter calibration and testing, and exposure topressure relief valves (PRVs)and industrial process equipment.
About the Role
As a key member of our Technical Services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality calibration, testing, and compliance services across Defence facilities, petrochemical plants, and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities
Performflow meter testing, verification, and calibrationacross a range of technologies, including:Magnetic Flow Meters
Ultrasonic Flow Meters
Coriolis Flow Meters
Thermal Mass Flow Meters
Complete calibration certificates, test reports, compliance documentation, and quality records
Assist with onsite commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and fault-finding activities




Conduct inspections and testing in accordance with client specifications and industry standards
Work on Defence and industrial projects throughout NSW and interstate as required
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with quality, environmental, and safety requirements
Essential Requirements
Australian Citizenship(mandatory for Defence pass eligibility)
Demonstrated experience inflow meter calibration and testing
NMI Certification
Mechanical Trade Qualification or Mechanical TA experience
Knowledge ofISO/IEC *****calibration principles
NATA experience highly regarded
Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills
Commitment to workplace safety and the ability to work in high-risk industrial environments
Current Australian Driver Licence.
Highly Desirable
Experience working within:Defence environments
Petrochemical facilities
Heavy industrial sectors
White Card
Confined Space Entry certification
Working at Heights certification
