About the role
This isa great opportunityto lead user experience and information architecture work across the NSW Department of Education's major digital channels, helping parents, carers, students,staffand the community find and use information more easily.
In this role, you will:
lead user experience and information architecture initiatives across large, complex digital channels
map user journeys andidentifyopportunities to improve navigation, content structure,accessibilityand task completion
conduct user research, analyseevidenceand translate insights into practical recommendations
provide specialist UX and design advice to content,productand platform teams
work with stakeholders across the department to improve consistency,usabilityand the overall quality of digital experiences

About you
Demonstrated experience in information architecture and user experience design for digital channels
Experience designing for coherence and consistency across multiple digital channels or large, complex content environments




Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department'sAboriginal Education Policyand upholding theDepartment's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECGand to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to thevalue of public education.
Current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance for paid employment
