About the Role
As a Radiology Nurse, you will play an integral role in ensuring our patients receive safe, compassionate and high-quality care throughout their imaging journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
Patient assessment, preparation and education prior to imaging procedures
Cannulation and intravenous contrast administration
Monitoring patients before, during and after contrast-enhanced examinations
Assisting radiologists with interventional and ultrasound-guided procedures
Recognising and managing adverse contrast reactions and medical emergencies
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Infection prevention and control
Supporting continuous quality improvement and accreditation standards




Delivering exceptional patient-centred care in a fast-paced environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Previous experience working within a radiology or diagnostic imaging practice
Demonstrated experience with IV cannulation and contrast administration
Current CPR certificate (ALS highly regarded)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
A calm, professional approach with excellent attention to detail
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
