Field Service Technician | Mobile Cranes

The Position
This is an autonomous Field Service Technician position responsible for servicing and supporting mobile cranes ranging from 50 tonnes through to 500 tonnes and above.
The role will involve a mixture of preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, fault-finding and breakdown support at customer sites, primarily throughout South East Queensland.
Technicians will often travel directly from home to site and return home at the end of the day.
The position can therefore suit someone based anywhere from North Brisbane through Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich or the Gold Coast.
The branch is located in the Logan area, with occasional visits required to collect parts, equipment or attend training.

The Candidate
Crane experience is essential.
This position requires someone capable of stepping into the role and working effectively from the outset-applicants without previous crane service or repair experience cannot be considered.
The successful candidate will also possess:
A relevant mechanical trade qualification
Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills
Experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing mobile cranes
Experience with brands such as Franna, Liebherr, Tadano, Grove, SANY, XCMG, Terex or Zoomlion
The ability to work autonomously and manage field-service priorities
Robust communication and customer-service skills
A commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
A current Australian driver's licence
