Transport Scheduler & Compliance Support
NORTHSIX is recruiting an experienced transport scheduler on behalf of our client, a well established business in bulk delivery transport.
This role covers scheduling needs across regional Queensland.
It sits within a scheduling team of 5 and covers two key areas: day to day scheduling and compliance support.
The role suits someone with genuine transport scheduling experience who takes ownership, moves quickly when things change, and enjoys being the person who keeps scheduling and compliance managed and on track.
The role
Manage and adjust daily delivery schedules
Coordinate closely with the customer service team and BDMs on dispatch and route planning
Manage driver rosters and communicate daily on duties and schedules
Support NHVR compliance requirements including mass management and fatigue management
Assist with weighing and measuring of trucks to meet compliance standards
Review driver logbooks, run sheets and time sheets for accuracy
Keep compliance records and documentation accurate and up to date




Work alongside the Driver Trainer to ensure compliance tools are current and any issues are addressed
Support hazard identification and incident reporting to maintain high safety standards
Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency, including route and load planning
About you
Proven experience in transport scheduling is essential
Understanding of Chain of Responsibility, mass management and fatigue management obligations
Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising with drivers, customers and internal teams
Ability to manage competing priorities and act quickly under pressure
A team player who also takes ownership of their work
